Hi!
Thanks for joining the Chess Training Accountability Group. I decided it was best to separate it from the Say Chess Substack, because I don't want to send updates about the group to people who haven’t shown any interest in it.
At the same time, I’m blown away by the interest shown by those who have joined! It also really motivating to see that we already crossed 200 people after a week!
A few of you have not noticed that you have gotten an invitation in your inbox from Clockify and have yet to join the group, try to search for it in your inbox or send me a message.
Also when you have logged on to Clockify, remember to go click on the purple speech bubble. You will then open and join the group chat.
Here we have started two book channels so far. One on Calculation by Aagaard, and one on the Yusupov series. If you want to start a book channel, please ask in the #general and see if others might be working on the same book as you.
Feel free to join if you want support while going through the books.
I have also created smaller accountability teams within the chat room. Here you can share your weekly plans and results with a smaller team of people in a private group. I have made 3 teams based on weekly time spent on chess: 1-4 hours, 5-9 hours, and +10 hours.
If you want to join one just type it in the #general channel.
Finally, if you have ideas or questions, please let me know.
